I was walking along with my camera and saw this old building from across the street, it was like looking at an unfinished mural. I stood there for the longest time soaking up what I was seeing with both my eyes and my imagination. Taking my camera and shooting the wall I brought my images home to my studio and painted into the image what my imagination had first seen.

I was the kid who loved the big box of crayons. I still get that feeling of anticipation with every new project, it's why I continue to explore art in a wide variety of mediums.
