Located on the California Ten Mile Coastal Trail in Ft. Bragg California, the Pudding Creek Trestle was reopened. The redwood rail bridge was once part of the log-haul route that transported timber to Fort Braggs mill. Today the towering 1916 structure is used as a pedestrian and bike bridge.
Now walkers, runners, and cyclists can get all the way from town to MacKerricher State Park, 3 miles north, using not the highway but a quiet route that takes in undeveloped headlands, beaches, tide pools, and sand dunes.
