I share your love for abandoned buildings. You have a gift of giving them character and new life.

Kandy Hurley replied:

I love the stories that each one of these places hold, very much like a puzzle, even when some of the pieces are missing.

Artist's Description

This is from my Abandoned series. I find old abandoned buildings are beautiful in a gritty careworn way and have stories to tell.
This gem sits on the Malecón just across from the Sea of Cortez in the seaport town of Loreto Baja California Sur.
At one time may have been a thriving business, the location certainly would have been convenient for the people who stroll and drive up and down the Malecón each evening.
Today its beauty comes from the care worn facade and the faded lettering.
To be sure there is no more water to be offered.

There is sure to be something just perfect for your needs, wants and most importantly because its art, your passion.

I welcome your visits as well, as your comments, pins and tweets.
Come back often as new work is added frequently.
Thank you for visiting.
