On one of my drives I came across this old beauty. I don't think it will be flying anytime soon.

Wow! This is such an intriguing scene! Did it crash land there a long time ago and was just left there to rust? ...its final resting place..... which is actually a very beautiful place to be . . . I would not object!.....fv

Very nice and somehow nostalgic. Not ready for takeoff at all. I always create a bond with objects that give me particular pleasure. I react to them as if they were alive. This old wooden plane with it's broken wing and missing nose, lying there forsaken by the fence, is surprisingly touching.
