Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". Enso is the classic symbol for Zen. In Zen, ensō is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create.
My Contemporary Enso Circles series is my vision of Enso as a process as well as a symbol.
You'll see this symbol with the circle open or closed. When the circle is open it allows for movement and development. Zen practitioners relate the idea to beauty of imperfection.
When the circle is closed, it represents perfection.
I was the kid who loved the big box of crayons. I still get that feeling of anticipation with every new project, it's why I continue to explore art in a wide variety of mediums.
