Getting the clutter out of our heads takes work. My preference for art is the same, I like to create art that has clean lines and doesn't have a lot of extra fluff.
I was the kid who loved the big box of crayons. I still get that feeling of anticipation with every new project, it's why I continue to explore art in a wide variety of mediums.
