Akoben is a West African Adinkra symbol representing vigilance and wariness. This symbol is also referred to as the War Horn. This is my very loose representation of that symbol. The original art is a wood cut which was completed in Photoshop.
I was the kid who loved the big box of crayons. I still get that feeling of anticipation with every new project, it's why I continue to explore art in a wide variety of mediums. If you've collected my work send me a photo I'd like to see where it's displayed.
