Description
From my series Celtic Symbols. The Dara knot. Dara comes from the word doire or also known as oak tree in English. The design is likened to the root system of the oak.
The Dara knot, as it is associated with the oak, reminds us that beneath our surface or beneath the soil, we have many inner resources just like the root system and those resources lend us wisdom and balance.
While Celtic art takes many forms, nothing is more immediately recognizable than the classic Celtic knot. Wonderfully complex, remarkably precise, and eerily three-dimensional, Celtic knots are the hallmark of traditional Irish culture.
This is available in a variety of formats and sizes.
