Description
Tea, coffee perhaps even hot chocolate they all are tasty beverages and can be called cuppa's.
"Lets have another cuppa coffee" Or if referring to tea "Lets have a good strong cuppa"
While cuppa has become something of a trendy word, its origins according to Webster's Dictionary goes back to 1934 and was used as a shortened version of -a cup of tea.
The Oxford Dictionary has the origin dated in the 1920's it may have taken awhile to cross the Atlantic.
My preference, I have coffee in my cuppa, except when I'm having a Barry's tea.
