Description

The city of Carmel By The Sea is known for being dog-friendly, with numerous hotels, restaurants and retail establishments admitting guests with dogs. Some restaurants offer Doggie menus in addition to regular fare.
Dogs must be leashed through out the village except on Carmel City Beach, where they are allowed to run free if they are under voice command from their owners.
It was fun to watch happy dogs frolicking in the surf and the fisherman didn't mind at all.
